Ashlee Simpson’s gone blonde — again!

These days, the singer-turned-actress — who is a natural blonde — has swapped the red, black, and brown tresses that have become her hallmark for a platinum-blonde pixie ripped straight from the days of Twiggy and The Mod Movement of the 1960s. Ashlee, now 26, is the latest in a series of stars to join the Pixie Cut Craze 2010. Emma Watson, Carey Mulligan, and Michelle Williams have all sported the chic cut.
“Yah fam headed out tonight stoked!” Ashlee’s husband, Pete Wentz, Tweeted on Tuesday, posting a photo of his wife’s new look. “Cute hair mama!” he added.
Pete previously Tweeted: “New blonde pixie haircut is cute. Ill try and sneak a pic to post.”

“Johnny English 2″ Filming Halted Due To Rowan Atkinson Illness

Get well soon, Mr. Bean! Production has halted on the forthcoming sequel to the 2003 spoof spy comedy Johnny English after the film’s star — British comedian Rowan Atkinson — was struck down with a mystery illness.

Atkinson had just began shooting scenes for Johnny English Reborn on location in London when he became violently ill.
His condition remains unknown.
The first Johnny English starred Atkinson as the incompetent titular spy who was completely clueless of the danger that he was in. A critical disaster, the flick was a hit and grossed nearly $160 at the international box office. In the new film — which also stars Gillian Anderson, Rosamund Pike, and Dominic West — Atkinson must stop a group of international assassins from killing a world leader. It is set for release in 2011.

Another Intruder Arrested At Paris Hilton Mansion

Another intruder was taken into police custody this week after the man was spotted prowling around the Los Angeles home of heiress Paris Hilton.

Police in LA County say James Rainford was banging on the door of Hilton’s home in a gated community after sneaking past security guards early Tuesday. afternoon. Rainford got into a scuffle with security guards before being apprehended and arrested.
Bail has been set at $20,000.
This is the second time in two months that an intruder has been arrested outside the socialite’s home. In late August, a man was arrested after he began banging on the windows of Hilton’s home wielding two large knives.

Judy Blume “Tiger Eyes” Movie!

Listen up, Young Adult Literature Fans! Hollywood bigwigs are currently casting for a film adaptation of Tiger Eyes, Judy Blume’s classic 1981 novel about a teenage girl struggling to cope with the death of her father and life in unfamiliar New Mexico.

Tiger Eyes follows in the footsteps of at least one other Blume classic that was given the film treatment. The kids’ fave Superfudge was turned into an ABC TV movie in 1995.
Gossip Girl villainess Willa Holland will be playing plucky protagonist Davey, while relative newcomer Tatanka Means takes over as Wolf, a mysterious canyon dweller with a crush on Davey.

Nicole Richie Rips Paparazzi

Nicole Richie has a bone to pick with pesky pappers. The furious bad girl-turned-protective mama bear has fired off an angry letter — in Full Bitch Mode, mind you — to X17 Online photographers who park outside her daughter Harlow’s Los Angeles school happily snapping away.

Richie — who has two children with fiance Joel Madden — has been a paparazzi target since her first season of The Simple Life debuted back in 2003. She’s taken it in stride, but the reformed wildchild draws the line at “stalking” her little girl. Nic wrote a scathing letter to the offending photographers, calling them “irresponsible and repulsive.” In fact, she’s threatening to play the vigilante in an effort to cull the paparazzo she feels are endangering the lives of kids and parents.
“THANK YOU so much for posting the video of your employees sitting outside of my daughter’s school, because now the entire world can see how creepy and disgusting you are,” Richie fumes.
“You do not get to spend 200 dollars on a camera, and think that gives you a free pass to shadow my child. These are strangers, grown men, stalking children. You think that’s ok?” she asks.
And the rant didn’t stop there. Nicole further rages at the paparazzi for another three paragraphs!
“You are stalking the children. Now how do you feel? I PROMISE YOU that I am going to do a background check on each and every person that I see there. For the safety of my children and others,” she writes, before accusing X17 of hiring photogs with lapsed driver’s licenses. “The last time I did a check on your staff, I found they had no license. Remember that day? The day that ended with a car accident and me in a hospital? You, x17, better be pretty confident in your actions, and feel really good about what you are doing.”
“If I find out anyone has a suspended, restricted or invalid license, I will have them thrown in jail before they can pick up the phone and call their lawyers. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES. These are young children and you should know better. X17, you are irresponsible and repulsive. Consider this a warning.”
