Emma Watson: I Belong at Brown

To movie fans, Emma Watson will always be Hermione Granger. They can get a look at her in this role via our latest round of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows photos.
But the actress feels just at home on the college campus of Brown University as she does on the big screen, a fact she goes into detail about in this month's Marie Claire. Excerpts, and pictures, from the interview are below.

On life at Brown: Brown has a real sense of community, and people are very protective of me. They really look out for me; they want me to feel like I’m part of it. I threw my 20th birthday party at Brown, and I didn’t even have to say to anyone not to put pictures on Facebook. Not a single picture went up. That was when I knew I’d found a solid group of friends, and I felt like I belonged.

On portraying Hermione: I felt like I knew exactly who she was. Like me, she’s very loyal and determined, she’s very intelligent, and she has a lot of guy friends, as I do. Her eagerness to please and to have the right answer is definitely like me. I’m a perfectionist, so my bossiness definitely comes out.

Britney Spears Ready to Get "Grimier"

Lukasz "Dr. Luke" Gottwald, a producer who's worked with other hot singers such as Ke$ha and Katy Perry, is now working on Britney Spears' follow-up to Circus.
"She's an icon," Dr. Luke said of Spears, whose new album will be "grimier" than ever. "She's been around and always delivers, so there's a lot for us to live up to."
Indeed. She sets the bar high for dirtiness ...

DIRTY GIRL: She really is. But we haven't seen anything yet.

Dr. Luke, who co-produced and co-wrote the title track to Circus, says he has some new ideas in mind that will help shift the pop star's musical style.
"It's early in the process, but I want [the sound] to get harder in some ways," he says "and maybe a little more deep into electronic - even grimier."
Sounds filthy. Spears has reportedly finished three new songs for the album, and grimy new release is slated for an early 2011 release. Supposedly.

Catya Washington Arrested for Possessing Lots of Drugs and a Gun

Catya is accustomed to the finer things in life and plans on living the life of luxury as long as she can.
So reads the online profile for Catya Washington, a member of Oxygen's Bad Girls Club in Miami. Unfortunately for this trouble maker, she may need to change her perception of luxurious from high class clubs to top notch cigarette brands, as she's been arrested on a number of series charges.

As first reported by TMZ and confirmed by the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office, Washington was arrested yesterday for cocaine, mushroom and ecstasy possession. She also had a gun on her.

The busty realty star was booked on five counts, including possession with intent to manufacture or deliver; possession of drug paraphernalia; and possession of an instrument of crime. She's being held on $500,000 bail and is due in court on November 22.

Lady Gaga Makes Wax Museum History

Not only will Lady Gaga be inducted into Madame Tussauds museums around the world this month, but a staggering eight wax Gagas will be enshrined!
The reveal of her eight different looks (as seen in some classic Lady Gaga pictures) will be the biggest figure launch in the history of the museum.

Mother of Mario Barrett: My Bad!

Mario Barrett is off the legal hook.
In early October, the R&B singer was arrested for assault because his mother, Shawntia Hardaway, accused her son of shoving her in the chest and trashing her apartment. Readers, however, suspected that Hardaway's history of substance abuse played a role in this allegation.
They were correct.

On the witness stand yesterday, Hardaway changed her story and admitted she was under the influence of drugs and alcohol when she called the cops. She now says Mario never touched her.

The artist's attorney, Billy Murphy, says his client "remains committed to helping his mother battle her addiction." We hope for everyone's sake that she gets the assistance she needs.
